U.S. Cellular has big plans for the rest of this year when it comes to Android. They plan on launching seven Android devices which includes their first 4G enabled device.
According to their press release these devices will include a 7 inch tablet from HTC along with 2 other HTC devices. Along with those is a Motorola device that will feature a 1GHz processor, 4.3 inch touch screen, and will also be optimized for multimedia applications such as watching movies and television.
U.S. Cellular will also launch a device from LG that will feature a 1 GHz processor, 4-inch touchscreen and ultra-bright LCD display that will be easy to view in sunlight. There will also be some entry level devices from Samsung and Huawei that will launch also this year.

The Droid Bionic has been an on again off again device from Motorola. At one one point and time it was considered cancelled and that was followed by Motorola saying that it would be delayed but we would be seeing it at some point. Well the day seems to be getting closer and closer as more information and pics are leaked.
The Droid Bionic is massive in comparison to the Defy and will feature a 4.5 inch qHD 3D display along with a new 3D Blur that will include 3D animations and more. The device will also be running the newest Android OS 2.3.4. as far as specs go that is all that is really known at the moment but we definitely want to hear more.

Intuit, Inc, which is a subsidiary of Intuit Financial Services, has announced a new mobile banking application to help users make managing their finances easier using an Android device.
According to Inuit, Android users will be able to easily view their account balances, transaction history, transfer funds, and pay bills all from this new application. Another added bonus is the ability to locate bank branches and ATMs using the device’s internal GPS. (more…)
Today, Cricket Wireless has announced their next Android device, the Samsung Indulge. The Indulge is the fourth Android device to be launched on Cricket and will feature a 3.5 inch display, slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a 1GHz processor. This new video camera has a brand new redesign and weighs about 20 percent less than the original Looxcie, while being almost half the size. Today, Viewsonic has announced their upcoming 7 inch tablet for those budget minded consumers. The ViewBook 730 Android tablet is being tagged with the line “changing the face of tablets”, and it could have a significant chance in the multi-purpose eReader category, which is currently being dominated buy the Nook Color.
This new tablet will be running on Android 2.2, have a 1GHz CPU along 8 GB of internal memory on top of the ability to use a micro sd. The ViewBook will also feature 1080p playback support via the HDMI out port, a front facing camera, and a stylus similar to that of the HTC Flyer. (more…)
Only days after Radio Shack had outed the release date and a screen shot was obtained regarding both devices, Sprint has official announced two highly anticipated devices. Both the HTC EVO 3D and EVO View 4G will be launching on June 24th and is already available for preorder through Sprint.
Both of these devices can be preorder at any Sprint store with the purchase of a gift card worth $50 per device. The HTC EVO 3D will be priced at $199.99 and the HTC EVO View 4G will be priced at $399.99 on a new two year contract. In addition to the ability to be able to preorder, Sprint Premier customers will have the chance to purchase the EVO 3D three days before national launch. (more…)
OnLive is a cloud gaming company that already offers a wireless controller that is compatible with the HTC Flyer, however they have announced their intentions to bring this controller to more than just HTC devices.
In an email to PC Magazine, OnLive had stated, “The controller will communicate with tablets including a Samsung Galaxy Tab, via the tablet’s Bluetooth. The idea is that any Android tablet can be controlled using our universal wireless controller and we’ll be showing several examples next week of this in action, in addition to the Flyer.” (more…)
Just last week, Google had removed over 25 applications from the Android Market due to a malware known as DroidDream Light. This is not the first or the last that we have seen of these issues. Another malware was discovered yet again circling the Android Market. This new malware known as DroidKungFu seems to be able to go undetected by mobile anti-virus software. (more…)

The Droid 3 is Motorola and Verizon’s big secret, well at least it is supposed to be but all good secrets can’t stay secrets now can they? Today, a series of YouTube videos were discovered giving users a tutorial of the upcoming Android device, and while we still have yet to find a release date for this baby many of us believe that we could be seeing it this month.
From what has been seen from these videos is a new version of Moto Blur, which for you Blur lovers is a great thing to hear. This new version of Blur is said to have 3D animations which could be similar to what we have seen on HTC devices. At the moment there are two different types of operating systems. These include types that are like Apple’s iOS which runs only on a proprietary devices built by one company and ones like Android and Windows that want to be on every device possible. Up in till today, HP’s WebOS has always been considered to be like RIM and iOS, due to the fact that HP had plans to put their OS on their own hardware but it seems that their plans have changed.
