Guide To The Samsung Galaxy S II

Quick Look At The Samsung Galaxy S II Headed To AT&T

The Samsung Galaxy S II arrived in the United States last week via the Sprint Epic 4G Touch. The next US Samsung Galaxy S II is the one headed to AT&T. T-Mobile has yet to announce a date.

The AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is being billed as the thinnest smartphone in the world by Samsung and AT&T. Both companies relased the first “worlds thinnest phone” last year in the form of the Samsung Captivate, an original Galaxy S phone.  The Samsung Captivate measured in at 9mm thick while the Sprint Epic 4G Touch measures in at 10mm thick.  The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II for AT&T measures in at 8.9mm thick.

Also, the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3″ superAMOLED Plus screen while the Sprint and T-Mobile versions have 4.5″ screens.  Like the Sprint version, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II has a 1.2ghz dual core Samsung Exonys processor. The T-Mobile version is reportedly going to have a 1.5ghz Qualcomm dual core processor.
