The AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is being billed as the thinnest smartphone in the world by Samsung and AT&T. Both companies relased the first “worlds thinnest phone” last year in the form of the Samsung Captivate, an original Galaxy S phone. The Samsung Captivate measured in at 9mm thick while the Sprint Epic 4G Touch measures in at 10mm thick. The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II for AT&T measures in at 8.9mm thick.
Also, the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3″ superAMOLED Plus screen while the Sprint and T-Mobile versions have 4.5″ screens. Like the Sprint version, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II has a 1.2ghz dual core Samsung Exonys processor. The T-Mobile version is reportedly going to have a 1.5ghz Qualcomm dual core processor.
