If you follow along below, we’ll show you the absolute best accessories that you can get for your Galaxy S9. Check them out!

Gear VR Headset

Want to see what virtual reality is all about? Well, good news! Getting into virtual reality with a mobile device is fairly cheap. It’s nowhere near as pricey as an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive for your PC — you really can get into it without breaking the bank. For the Galaxy S9, we recommend picking up Samsung’s Gear VR to go along with it. Your smartphone does all the computational work for running virtual reality, but the headset and its lenses is what gives you the virtual reality perspective.

The Gear VR has a ton of great apps you can play with, too. You can play virtual reality games (there are well over 600 total apps you can test run), watch video, etc. Gets your at the link below.

DJI OSMO Mobile Gimbal

Next up is the DJI OSMO Mobile Gimbal. This is a video stabilizer so that you can take cinematic-like video without getting shaky footage. Using just your hands, footage can look a little shaky when taking video. But, if you put your phone in the DJI OSMO Mobile Gimbal stabilizer, you’ll get rid of that shakiness and be able to take cinematic-like footage. This is the same sort of technology that DJI uses in their drones, and if you’ve ever seen drone footage from DJI, it’s smooth as butter.

This video stabilizer will set you back about $200, but it’s well worth it if you want your videos to come out at a movie-grade level.

Samsung Gear S3

The next accessory you’re definitely going to want to get is the Gear S3. This is a professional looking smartwatch that’ll make you stand out. It has a distinctive steel bezel and has a darker looking profile, or there’s the Classic version that is a bit brighter. You connect up to your Galaxy S9 via Bluetooth, and then you’ll get all of your notifications on the smartwatch so you don’t have to pull your phone out your pocket. You can take phones calls, send emails and make payments all through the Gear S3.

Samsung Convertible Wireless Charger

One thing you might want to do is pick up the Convertible Wireless Charger from Samsung for your Galaxy S9. Wires are super annoying when you’re trying to charge a device. Over the years, you harm the charging port quite a bit, and more often than not, it either needs replacing or needs a deep cleaning so it can charge properly. Now, with the Galaxy S9 being outfitted with wireless charging capabilities, you can charge it wirelessly with the Samsung Convertible Wireless Charger. It charges your phone just as fast as it would on the wire, but preserves the quality of the charging port.

Bose SoundSport

Last up, you might want to consider the Bose SoundSport headphones. These are great sounding headphones for everyday use, such as podcasts, books, music, listening to movies and so on. In addition, if you want to use your Galaxy S9 for exercise sessions, such as a nice long jog or a weight session at the gym, the Bose SoundSports are great for that. They’re resistant to the elements and sweat-proof, so you don’t have to worry about ruining your headphones when you’re out during a exercise session.

In addition, they also have a special fitment so that they form to your ear and don’t fall off during your jogs. They’re some of the best headphones you can get on the market right now, and have a wireless battery life of about 6 hours. Get your hands on them below!

Verdict

These are all really great accessories, so it can be hard to pick just one. However, if you want to narrow your choices down, we’d recommend getting the Samsung Wireless Charger so that you can preserve your Galaxy S9’s new USB port. We also recommend the Gear S3, which can give you an up on your professional style. If you’re into working out at all, you cannot go wrong with the Bose SoundSports either.

Samsung Gear S3 to be officially available in the U.S. starting Nov. 18

Gear S3

Gear S3 - Hero

#Samsung will officially bring the #GearS3 models to the U.S. on November 18. AT&T will start taking pre-orders for the wearables starting tomorrow, while other carriers like Verizon and T-Mobile should follow suit subsequently.

The Gear S3 will be available in two WiFi models, known as the Gear S3 Classic and the Gear S3 Frontier. An LTE model called Gear S3 Frontier will also be sold by the American carriers, allowing customers to use the smartwatch without requiring a paired smartphone. The pricing for the LTE model is not known yet, although the WiFi models will be priced at $349.

There are some key differences between the Gear S2 Classic and the Frontier. The company is targeting different demographics with the two wearables as the Classic features a more old-school look while the Frontier has a bit of a sports watch like look to it. Both feature the same hardware on board, which includes the rotating bezel ring.

Will you be pre-ordering any of these models?

Samsung officially announces the Gear S3 frontier and Gear S3 classic

Gear S3 - Hero

Gear S3 - Hero

After months of waiting and anticipation, #Samsung has officially unveiled the Gear S3 in two variants – the Gear S3 frontier and the Gear S3 classic. While both models pack fairly impressive hardware and design, the Gear S3 frontier appears to be the more evolved version, while the classic model just looks like a revamped version of the Gear S2 Classic from last year.

The frontier replaces the entry-level Gear S2 and packs a more robust body, without any of the sportiness involved. This looks like a rugged and durable wearable, which is perhaps the biggest change we see in terms of design. The timepiece itself will remain mostly unchanged as Samsung is using a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED circular display (an increase of 0.1-inch compared to the predecessor) accompanied by Corning’s freshly announced Gorilla Glass SR+.

Both variants are running Tizen out of the box and will be compatible with a wide range of Android devices as long as they have Android 4.4+ and 1.5GB of RAM on board. iOS devices will be supported soon as well. The battery has been bumped from 250 mAh to 380 mAh, allowing users to get more out of the smartwatches. The RAM has been increased from 512MB to 768MB while storage remains unchanged at 4GB. The popular rotating bezel has been retained with both models.

Strangely, the Gear S3 Classic will remain a WiFi only offering, while the Gear S3 frontier will be available in LTE models from T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon over the coming weeks. The Gear S3 classic will be available from Best Buy, Amazon, Macy’s, as well as Samsung’s dedicated online store. The company hasn’t shared pricing details for both smartwatches.

Samsung to launch Gear S3 in a ‘Classic’ variant

Samsung Gear S2

Samsung Gear S2

We’ve already heard that the #Samsung #GearS3 will come with pretty much the same design as the predecessor. A new revelation is now suggesting that the smartwatch will also have a ‘Classic’ version, just like the Gear S2. This basically means that the Gear S3 will be sold in a standard model and a more expensive Classic variant, perhaps with a metal or leather strap.

While smartwatches haven’t evolved to a point of global approval, the Gear S2 was certainly one of the better ones available out there. Thanks to attractive and innovative features like the rotating bezel ring, the wearable was an instant favorite among fans. Something similar will be expected of the next-gen model which will be revealed in September.

Much like the Gear S2, we expect the Gear S3 to be compatible with a wide-range of smartphones and not just Samsung’s Galaxy handsets. This means that the wearable would be more appealing to a wider set of audiences.

Rotating bezel confirmed for the Samsung Gear S3, launching in September

Gear S3

The #Samsung #GearS2 sports a beautiful rotating bezel ring, which allows for a smooth interaction with the user interface and a pleasurable user experience overall. Well, a report has confirmed that its successor, the Gear S3, will be packing this feature as well. SamMobile goes on to report that the smartwatch will be officially unveiled in September during the IFA 2016 event, much like last year’s model. But that’s the extent of the information we have right now, although we’re hoping more word comes through over the coming weeks.

We have heard murmurs about Samsung pairing with luxury jewelers and watch makers with the Gear S3 to produce limited edition models. This might still go on as planned, although it might not impact the everyday user all that much. What this new rumor also confirms is that the Gear S3 will feature a circular display as well, which is welcome news. But what else will the wearable showcase? Only time will tell.

AMOLED display-clad Galaxy Tab S3 apparently scheduled for a Sep. 1 launch

Galaxy Tab S3

As per Eldar Murtazin, who has been accurate about a few devices before, #Samsung is preparing the release of the #GalaxyTabS3 on September 1. Another source suggests that the company could instead release the #GearS3 on that day, although we cannot rule out the launch of both on the same day.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 is long overdue a successor, so we’re hoping the rumor does turn out to be true. The Gear S3, on the other hand, was always said to be on the cards, so we won’t be particularly surprised if and when it breaks cover.

One of the things that make the Galaxy Tab S series very desirable is the fact that they feature crisp and pixel dense AMOLED panels, which is unheard of for tablets. But it won’t be an easy task to dethrone Apple’s iPads, although Samsung can surely try with something like the Galaxy Tab S3. What do you wish to see with the Gear S3 and or the Galaxy Tab S3?

Upcoming Samsung Gear S2 successor codenamed ‘Solis’

Gear S3

#Samsung launched the #GearS2 last year to highly positive reviews, thanks mainly to the rotating bezel UI and an overall attractive design. Since we’re already in mid-2016 now and just a couple of months away from the Galaxy Note 6/7 reveal, the rumor mill is abuzz with talk about the Gear S3 or the Gear S2. It is said that the smartwatch is currently under production as ‘Solis’, meaning ‘the sun’ in Spanish.

This is an apt working name for the smartwatch given how the sun is associated with time. It is also said that there could be as many as five variants of the wearable. Not much else is known about this particular smartwatch, but we’re guessing it will borrow a lot from the predecessor, including the rotating bezel UI.

Since we’re this close to the launch, it is possible that we’ll hear more about the Gear S2 successor in the coming weeks. Are there any features that you wish to see with Samsung’s latest wearable? Let us know in the comments below.

Samsung rumored to be working on a luxurious Gear S2 successor

Samsung Gear S2 - Rose Gold

Samsung Gear S2 - Rose Gold

The #Samsung #GearS2 smartwatch has been more popular than the company probably expected. This was all thanks to the premium design packing on board the device, along with what was considered to be an easy to use and intuitive UI. Well, going by the response of the Gear S2, a rumor is pegging the company to be working on a “super-luxury” successor, which we’ll call the Gear S3 for now.

It is being said that Samsung will pair with Swiss premium jeweler de Grisogono for this Gear S3. If you recall, de Grisogono was involved in making a special edition Gear S2, so it’s no stranger to Samsung’s smartwatches.

The source reports that the smartwatch will be officially unveiled at the IFA 2016 event later this year.  Not coincidentally, this is the event where the Gear S2 was shown off last year, so it’s only natural that Samsung would make this an annual affair. The IFA event is scheduled for September, so there’s still some time left till we see this device in action, but this rumor has certainly gotten our juices flowing for the time being.

It’s still not known as to what’s new with the Gear S3, but we expect hints to drop as we approach September.
