Last year Motorola was expecting to lead the pack in the mobile world at CES. In some ways they did that with the launch of the Motorola Atrix 4G on AT&T, the Droid Bionic on Verizon Wireless and the Motorola Xoom tablet, the first tablet with Android 3.0 Honeycomb on board.
The Atrix and the Xoom debuted moderately well. On the other hand 9 months had passed between the announcement of the original Motorola Droid Bionic and the actual street date.
Motorola announced two new mid-range Android devices that were headed overseas however there aren’t any huge rumors of pending CES 2012 phone launch announcements.
