Google’s Annual Christmas Card Video

bugdroid

Google hands down makes some of the best promotional videos out there. Today, Google has released their annual Android Christmas card video featuring a little bugdroid who just wants to go outside. He’s quickly given various Nexus devices to recreate winter scenes and is then later joined by other bugdroids. I almost feel bad for the poor guy. Check out the video below!

Holiday Gift Guide: Android Shirts From Andy’s Threads

Andy’s Threads is a new Android apparel design company hailing from Texas.  The designs at Andy’s threads are graphic and eye catching. Their shirt designs remind us of shirts you’d find at Hot Topic.

Andy’s Threads is run by Daniel and Meagan Benavides. Some of you may know Daniel as Droid Messenger and Meagan as Meagan Monday. This husband and wife team set out to do something a little different celebrating everyone’s favorite Android mascot.

Although the Android team at Google has said that the name of the green robot is “Bug Droid” since 2008 when the Android platform was released via the G1, the Android community has affectionately known the mascot as “Andy”.

Android Shaped Blue Tooth Speaker

This little Android isn’t just the newest in Android figures.  He is a complete bluetooth speaker featuring both a speaker and a microphone.

The Android bluetooth speaker can connect to either a computer or your Android phone.  He also has multiple functions.  Need to turn up the volume, rotate his head to the left or right.  Need to pause or play a track, click his head.  He comes packaged with a nifty little desk stand that keeps him off your desk and makes it sound a little better.

He’s only 2w but it’s a comfortable level for a full office. He can also be used for calls with his built in microphone.  He also recharges over USB.
