A7 Takes Too Long To Turn On
Problem: My SAMSUNG Galaxy A7 2016 started to wont turn on like before when opening it after updating it into the newest version. It keeps on taking time like 1 minute to open it after locking it. And a lot of times happens that it wont turn on. It would just flash a light but the screen stays black. I don’t know what to do. I would be able to open it if I wait for a couple of minutes. It’s bothering me because my android phone isn’t like this before. Please help me to fix it.
Solution: If this issue occured right after a software update then it’s very likely that this is caused by some form of old software data that has not been completely removed from the phone during the update process. This old data is now causing a conflict with the new software version resulting in this issue that you are experiencing right now.
The best thing to do in the case is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
A7 Reboots And Freezes
Problem: Hi my device just reboots when it feels like and freezes all the time. Sometimes I have to re-set it to get it working. What is the SD card because it keeps on telling me about the SD card
Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then you should try removing this as this might be causing the problem. In case your phone does not have a microSD card or if the issue still occurs even when the card is removed then I recommend that you perform a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
A7 Will Not Turn On
Problem: hello, my phone won’t turn on but then i read your article and i have done what you said which is the soft reset method, i connected my phone to the charger and done the soft reset and while doing that ,the mobile starts to vibrate each 2 second and also it starts to be so heated up and also it gives me the notification sound which indicates that a notification has come to me, all that happen but still the mobile screen won’t turn on and won’t light so what should i do now? thanks in advance.
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to make sure that the phone battery has sufficient charge by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
- Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Remove the microSD card if your phone has one installed.
- Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
If the issue still persist then try starting the phone in recovery mode. If you are able to access this mode then perform a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
A7 Samsung Account Has Stopped
Problem: I have been receiving the following a few times now, and not sure how or what to do, I have un installed a chat app and installed it again and yet the same message and the app does not work. i also hear my message tone go off , yet no messages have arrived. as if it’s a message that is invisible.
1st I received : sync adapters has stopped.
2nd Samsung account has stopped.
How do I resolve this, I have tried the safe mode as you suggested on site , but no relief. If you advise to do a hard reset , I will need advice as to how do i backup all on my mobile, I do apologies as I am a novice in mobile tech. I await your reply
Solution: you should use Smart Switch to backup your phone data. This is a software you can download from the Samsung website which needs to be installed in your computer. This software will allow you to backup your phone data. Once a backup has been made proceed with the factory reset.
A7 Screen Is Unstable
Problem: I didn’t note exactly when I started having issues but I think it was a couple months after getting it. The screen would suddenly become unstable (it would become squiggly, jump from screen to screen, and reset some settings, such as airplane mode). While it was doing this, I could not use the phone and I could not even turn it off as the ‘power off’ button that appears on the screen when you hold the upper button down would not stay long enough on the screen to respond to my touch. This issue was intermittent but started to become more frequent. Unfortunately I had things going on in my life and didn’t immediately report the issue to my carrier (through which I had purchased the phone). When I did report it it was beyond their time frame (3 months) of replacing it with a new phone. I tried a factory reset, but that didn’t fix the issue. I returned that phone and was given a refurbished unit. It just started doing the same thing today (and of course this is beyond the carrier’s 1 month window to report problems). I have not seen any other reports of this online, but can’t believe I am the only one “lucky” enough to get 2 phones in a short period of time having the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Solution: Try doing a factory reset on this replacement phone. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. In case the issue still occurs after the reset then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
A7 Screen Is Black With Notifications Working
Problem: It was working fine and has been for the past few years. I am older and don’t use it that often other than texting and calling. I have never downloaded any apps or updated the phone. I always charge it overnight. This morning the screen was black and won’t show anything. I still get noise notifications of texts and calls but the screen remains black. The bottom buttons light up and the side buttons work b/c I can hear the noise of the volume increasing and decreasing. My husband took the phone apart with nothing looking wrong and the issue still not fixed. I have rarely dropped the phone and always have it in a case. It has no cracks and no physical damage. Thank you.
Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to start the phone in recovery mode and from hee perform a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data. If this does not fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a faulty display assembly. You will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked if this is the case.
A7 Screen Glitches Yellow And Green
Problem: the problem i’ve been having with my phone for a few months now is with the screen. when i turn it on and turn off my screen glitches yellow and green. also sometimes when i turn my screen on, the phone doesn’t come on, it’s just a black screen. after i have to do a simulated battery pull in order for it to work again this take a few tries most of the time until the phone restarts again. from turning the phone on from the home button and power button both cause the phone to glitch. also when i turn my brightness all down it glitches non stop until i have to increase the brightness a bit in order for the glitch to become visible. i’m not sure if its a hardware problem with my phone battery which im gonna replace so hopefully the glitch problem goes or it could be a software problem. the glitching has gotten worse over a time and when i turn my brightness all low the screen flickers orange and yellow then after like 5 mins it turns into a transparent clear light green but the glitch is still flickering. even on auto brightness the flickering appears. im sure it isnt my sim or sd card, i’m pretty sure its the battery or screen causing it to glitch so it must be hardware.
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue occurs. If it does then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
