The 2015 #Nexus5 is a poorly kept secret at this point as leaks have given us an excellent idea of the smartphone’s internal hardware as well as the design. A new leak is now hinting that the handset might be available in a newer color variant than previously rumored – mint green.
However, we’re not taking this seriously given that the image appears to be doctored. You can notice how the mint green hue is also visible in the background and not just on the device, so it seems like a case of bad photoshop work.
The handset in white looks pretty legitimate though and we can see that it has all the standard markings that we’ve seen in leaks before, including the Nexus and LG logos. Google is expected to reveal the handset on the 29th of September along with the Huawei Nexus 6, so we don’t have to wait much longer for the mystery to be unraveled.
As it stands, the Nexus 5 is going to be the smaller of the two with a 5.2 inch 1080p display panel, while the Huawei Nexus 6 could possible feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD panel underneath.

While we’ve heard plenty about the new #Nexus5, there’s barely any details on when the device will be officially shown off. Many have guessed that more like last year and the year before that, #Google will wait till October or November to release the device.
However, a new report is indicating that the smartphone will break cover much sooner on the 29th of September. The source doesn’t mention if the Huawei Nexus will also be unveiled on the same day, but that’s a strong possibility given that they’re both Nexus devices.
The revelation was made by a Korean source, but given the nature of the leak, it’s too early to tell if there’s any credence to this. The LG Nexus 5 is expected to be packing a 5.2 inch Quad HD or 1080p display, a 6-core Snapdragon 808 chipset, a 13-megapixel camera with laser autofocus, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and a decently sized battery.
Although there’s every possibility that this leak might not materialize, make sure you mark your calendars for September 29, just to be on the safer side.

#Google is all set to reveal two #Nexus devices this year according to some very convincing leaks from reliable sources. A new report from China is now giving us more clarity on what to expect from LG’s Nexus offering. According to this report, the smartphone will be packing a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset underneath, much like the #LGG4 that was launched a couple of months ago.
The report goes on to state that the handset will come with a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, 13-megapixel camera on the back with optical image stabilization, a 5-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM and of course Android 6.0 #Marshmallow. The report didn’t divulge further on the specifications of the 2015 LG Nexus 5, but we’ve learnt that the device would pack a fingerprint scanner and a reversible USB Type C port.
A leak from last week gave us a comprehensive look of the 2015 LG Nexus 5, while we’ve also seen an identical leak of the Huawei Nexus phablet some days ago. Google usually releases its Nexus flagships in late October and we expect no different this time around.
