Galaxy S8+ Battery Takes Too Long To Charge

Problem: Hi, I am using s8 plus from past 1 year but recently I got a problem I think it’s software issue. The phone doesn’t charge with the original charging adapter I tried like 5-6 original and aftermarket adapters none of them worked. But it charged with one plus 6 dash charging adapter, wire is not an issue, all wire work but I’ve to use oneplus dash adapter and it charges slow like hell it takes 7-8 hrs to fully charge. I haven’t been in service center yet. I am facing this issue from last 3 days previously it was working good without any kind of trouble. I hope you guys will help me out.

Solution: The problem could be caused by dirt or debris stuck in the charging port of the phone. To check if this is the case you will need to clean this port using a can of compressed air. Once this is doen check if the issue still occurs. If it does then proceed with the additional steps listed below.

  • Try using a different Samsung charging cord and wall charger.
  • Check if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone just yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Galaxy S8+ Not turning On After Getting Wet

Problem: Yes I have the new galaxy S8 plus I went swimming came back home use my phone all that night in wake up to a black screen want come at all I did everything hold the volume button down in the power button nothing.. I been up since 7 this morning trying everything I see on youtube

Solution: Although this phone has a waterproof feature there are still instances when water can enter the device especially if its rubber seals are broken. What you should so in this case is to assume that  water has indeed entered the phone. You will have to place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. The rice will absorb the moisture inside the phone. Once this is done charge the phone first for at least 20 minutes then turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If this doesn’t fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Galaxy S8+ Battery Drains Quickly

Problem: Hello, My 3 month -old Galaxy S8+ had been having major battery issues, sometimes lasting only 2-3 hours from a full charge and going into hibernation at 14%. I had cleaned out all the bloatware, put a black background up, put it on the most optimized battery plan possible, and checked to see there were no surprise apps running. The battery just kept getting worse. I got the battery replaced by a professional, but there was no effect! Same high rate of drain. So I then factory reset the phone and… it didn’t get better. Same absurdly short battery life, even again after I optimized it and cleaned out all the apps. What on earth could be going on here??

Solution: If the issue still occurs even after having the battery replaced and doing a factory reset then the problem is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component possibly the power IC. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Galaxy S8+ Stuck In Boot Logo

Problem: I have a galaxy s8 plus. It died on me and when I charged it was at 50% I decided to turn it on but stayed frozen on first screen that reads galaxy s8+. I have tried all your methods down to factory resetting it but still stays frozen on that’s screen. What more can I do I have only had the phone for about 3 months and have never had any issues up until now never dropped it or have gotten it wet.

Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset from the recovery mode and the issue still persists then this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
