Samsung’s Q3 Earning Unveiled, Koren Tech Giant Earns A Whopping 7.4 Billion During Q3

If you were wanting to know how well Samsung did during Q3 this year due to their Galaxy S III sales and the trouble Apple has been giving the Korean tech  giant in court, the wait is now over! Samsung Electronics has released their over all sales results of Q3. While we knew it was going to be big after having sold 20 million Galaxy S III’s, we certainly didn’t expect to see a whopping 7.4 billion in earnings. The Galaxy S III obviously has a lot to do with those numbers as their mobile division’s sales have more than doubled during around the same time as last years. Samsung has claimed that they have sold 20 million Galaxy S III’s during July to September, and even announced those sales a couple months back. During the same time period, Apple has sold a good 26.9 million iPhone’s, and as you can imagine, most of that number comes from their newly released iPhone 5 (although, it would make logical sense that most people went and picked up an iPhone 4 or 4S with the new price drop, but then again, everyone loves to get new gadgets). It’ll be interesting to see Apple’s earning from this quarter and then compare that to Samsung.

The large sales coming out of their mobile department has also helped hide the fact that their over all chip sales were cut almost half as compared to their previous year. Nonetheless, Samsung has still posted a record sales number with no signs of slowing down. It is only expected to flourish even more with their new Galaxy Note II starting to hit shelves all over America. After AT&T and Verizon receive the device, I can only imagine what the sales would look like after that. The next quarter is looking good for them so far as well since Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy S IV at the Mobile World Congress with a true 1080p HD display along with their flexible AMOLED’s rumored to also release sometime in early 2013. The next year is shaping up quite nicely for Samsung thus far.

7.4 billion is a lot, and at the rate that a lot of their mobile stuff is selling right now, I can only imagine that it will literally be skyrocketing as the company moves forward with their future plans. And who knows, maybe Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie will be something extremely amazing like Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and Samsung will try and be one of the first companies to launch a device with the updated Android version. Considering how popular Samsung has been, the sales would most likely be pretty extraordinary.
