Even though the Samsung Galaxy Ace Style is yet to be unveiled by Samsung, the manufacturer has gone ahead and shown it off at an event held in Hamburg, Germany. Expectedly, the handset comes with midrange hardware and a price range of under $400 at launch. There’s no word on when the handset will officially arrive in the markets, but it’s safe to assume that Germany will be one of the first markets to get it. The handset will be sold in single and dual SIM configurations.
The Galaxy Ace Style packs a 4 inch display, a 5-megapixel camera and Android 4.4 KitKat with no details on the processor or the RAM at the moment. It’s commendable of Samsung to pack in the latest Android version even with its midrange offerings, which could go a long way in convincing potential buyers. We’re waiting for more details to emerge on this new budget smartphone from Samsung, but don’t be surprised if it silently makes its way to markets without a formal announcement, as the Korean manufacturer has done that on several occasions before.
Considering that this is a low end device, it might make its way through prepaid carriers in the U.S. with a sub $300 off contract price.
So who’s interested in getting one of these?
