Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 hits FCC

A device called the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has been spotted at the FCC website. The listing reveals little information about the device. Among these are its phone model, SM-T320; measurements, 219 mm (length) x 128 mm (width) x 240 mm (diagonal); and some connectivity options, Bluetooth and WiFi. Apart from these, the features and internal hardware of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 remain a mystery, at least from the information stated in the FCC filing.

It has been rumored, however, that the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will pack 16GB of internal storage space, plus the possibility of expansion via a microSD card slot. A Super AMOLED display is likely onboard, as well.

It may be recalled that earlier this month, the name of this slate already surfaced online, along with Samsung’s other upcoming tablets for the early part of 2014. Joining the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 are the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, as well as the only one without a “Pro” in its name, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will be released around February, possible towards the end of the month. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, meanwhile, will be released a little later, likely during the Mobile World Congress.

Other rumors suggest that the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will also have 16GB of internal storage and a Super AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Note Pro 12.2 will boast of 32GB of space, 3GB of RAM, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, a 9500mAh battery, plus 3GB of RAM. As for the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, speculations have it that it will pack a 7-inch display, and a chassis in Cream White. All of the aforementioned Pro tablets will be offered in both black and white.
