Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus to supposedly feature a 3,000 mAh battery

Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Leaks over the past few days have revealed that the Galaxy S6 edge Plus will be launched very soon as a slightly larger variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge. A newer leak is now claiming that the device will be unveiled with a larger 3,000 mAh battery. We mention larger because the Galaxy S6 edge has a moderately sized battery underneath to keep the thickness to a minimum. 3,000 mAh is in no way considered massive by the current standards, but it’s certainly a step up for Samsung.

The leak further claims that the device is 151 mm tall and 73 mm wide, telling us that it will be quite large compared to the Galaxy S6 edge. However, a previous leak claimed that the dimensions would be 154 mm tall and 75.80 wide, so this new report pegs the Galaxy S6 edge Plus to be slightly smaller.

At this point, we’re going to treat this as a rumor and we suggest you do the same as there’s barely any evidence out there to prove otherwise. What do you make of the Galaxy S6 edge Plus?
