AnTuTu is quite popular for revealing specs of flagship devices ahead of schedule. And today, we are having one of our first glimpses of the future Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S6 courtesy of the site. According to this screenshot accessed by a user, the Galaxy S6 (SM-G925F) is sporting a Quad HD display. This is hardly a surprise as Samsung has already rolled out a Quad HD flagship this year in the form of the Galaxy Note 4.
The other revelation made by this benchmark listing is the availability of a 16-megapixel sensor on the smartphone, rather than a 20-megapixel unit as suggested by previous leaks. But since it’s still early days, this could change before the launch next year. The device is also shown to be packing Android 5.0 Lollipop by default and an ARM v8 based octa-core CPU, possibly using the Exynos 7420 64-bit chipset.
By the looks of it, the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be yet another hardware beast to watch out for early next year. And considering how much is on stake for Samsung, it could be the phone to beat in 2015.
