AT&T has just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini on its network with a stellar price tag of $0.99 on a two year contract. This is partly due to the fact that the smartphone is more than an year old in the market and probably won’t find a lot of takers either. But the pricing and the specs make it an attractive proposition for new buyers.
AT&T will start pre-orders tomorrow with shipping commencing from September 27. The smartphone which broke cover in November last year, is a pretty low key device, but with support for AT&T’s blazing fast LTE network around the U.S.
The smartphone comes with a 4 inch 480×800 resolution display, a 1 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There’s no info on the internal storage but that shouldn’t matter much as the Galaxy S III Mini packs a microSD card slot. The smartphone comes with a 1,500 mAh battery, which should be decent for a handset of its stature.
