Note 4 Lagging Freezing

Problem: I have a habit of downloading apparently that look good well tried this one click root…which didn’t work but my phone started lagging and freezing up. So I set my phone back to factory settings it still doing that. It also says there is no dev

Solution: One Click Root is a software solution that is used to root several phone models. When the phone is rooted the user will gain access to several features that have been previously blocked. This is great if you want to remove the bloatware apps on the phone or if you want to install a custom ROM. Although it is quite easy to use there are instances when the rooting process can fail which might have happened in this case.

Since you are experiencing freezing and lagging issues then the phone software might have been affected by the process. If a factory reset fails to fix the problem then you should check first if the microSD card is causing this problem by removing it from your phone. If your phone does not have a microSD card or if the issue still occurs even after removing the microSD card then I suggest that you consider flashing your phone with its updated firmware file. You can download your phone’s firmware file from the Sammobile website where you can also find instructions on the correct flashing procedure.

Note 4 Freezes

Problem: my phone freezes at times, when I try to restart I see a big green robot that says system reboot not work. do not turn off. If I remove the battery, the phone will come back on, but soon freezes again. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Solution: There’s a big possibility that this problem is caused by some form of software glitch which is why we will be concentrating our troubleshooting on the phone software. Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below to fix this problem. Check if the issue still occurs after performing a step then move to the next one if it still does.

  • Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try removing it.
  • Try starting the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the issue doesn’t occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

If the issue persists then you should try replacing the battery with a new one and if this still does not work I recommend that you bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

Note 4 Stuck In Android Robot Screen

Problem: After I did a reset now the phone starts with an android screen and a blue robot instead of the nice Samsung logo one how do I fix this issue?

Related Problem: My phone abruptly turns off and suddenly a black screen appears with some debug stuff and android robot and a capital word SMPL nd etc….what is happening with phone? what to do?

Solution: For this particular problem you should first remove the battery and microSD card ( if your phone has one installed) then press and hold the power button for at least a minute. What this does is it discharges the phone circuit and clears out its RAM. Next, reinsert just the battery then try to turn on your phone.

If the issue still persists then you should try to start the phone in recovery mode. If the phone starts this way then you will have to do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

One last troubleshooting step that you should consider if the above steps fail is to flash your phone with its updated stock firmware file. You can download the correct firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website. You will also find instructions on how to flash your phone in this website.

Note 4 Not Opening Correct Chrome Page

Problem: On my Galaxy note 4, I will use Ok Google or the google search widget search bar. The page I search, starts to load and then the system sends me automatically to a previously opened chrome page. If I look in the open tabs. The newly search page is there, which I can click to. But this always happens and is irritating. How to resolve?

Solution: It’s possible that this issue is caused by a problem with the Chrome browser. Try clearing the cache and data of the Chrome browser from the Application Manager.

The other troubleshooting steps that you should do if the issue still occurs are as follows.

  • Check for any software updates ( including app updates) then update accordingly.
  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Note 4 Reboots When Opening Snapchat

Problem: When I open my snapchat app the phone reboots. I’ve tried to factory reset and still nothing. Also my phone periodically reboots. And when taking a snapchat video the focus bours in and out.

Solution: There are several cases such as this where the problem is caused by a weak or faulty battery. If a factory reset fails to fix the problem then you should try replacing the battery of your phone with a new one.

Note 4 Turns Off On Its Own

Problem: My Samsung note 4 is turning off alone. When it is in standby I can use it . I see only the blue led. When I prove to turn on myself, I see “downloading do not turn off target” I have already reset the phone i can’t use my phone and I hope that you could help me

Solution: If a factory reset does not fix the problem then I suggest checking if the issue still occurs when the phone is plugged to its wall charger. If the issue does not occur then it could be caused by a weak battery. Try replacing the battery of your phone with a new one.

Should the issue persist then you should consider flashing your phone with its updated firmware file.

Note 4 Not Downloading Photos And Videos

Problem: I have a Note 4 and I have not been able to download any of my snaps. pics or videos. This has been happening for about 3 weeks now and i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. and i have also made sure that it is updated. Not sure what is going on. I didn’t have any trouble with this feature before

Solution: This could be a connection related problem. Have you tried checking if the issue occurs when the phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network or when you try to use your mobile data subscription? If it doesn’t then it is most likely caused by your current Internet connection.

Note 4 Google Play Services Crashes

Problem: I bought a used AT&T Note 4 and every time I try to log in to google play services for the first time, (add my google account in any way), google play services crashes. I’ve tried factory reset, wiping cache, etc. Nothing changes.

Solution: If you already performed a factory reset and this doesn’t fix the problem then I recommend that you flash your phone with its updated stock firmware file.
