According to new reports from an alleged company insider, Samsung is still uncertain about what the Galaxy S6 should look like. The Korean manufacturer is reportedly testing multiple variants of the upcoming flagship, including a curved display model much like the Galaxy Note Edge, but possibly in a smaller form factor. The company is also said to be testing a dual sided curved display model, along with a standard flat display model, which means there are a total of three variants which are being extensively tested in the company’s labs.
Given how much is riding on the Galaxy S6 for Samsung’s leadership, it is imperative that the smartphone impresses the market. It is yet to be seen if the Galaxy S6 will be anything like the rumors suggest and we expect to get a better idea of that as we head further into 2015. The device should be packing an AMOLED display with a QHD resolution, a Snapdragon 810 chipset and a capable camera sensor to make it a worthy upgrade over the predecessor.
What do you expect to see on Samsung’s next flagship?
