Samsung begins beta testing the Android 7.0 update for the Galaxy S7 edge

Samsung Galaxy S7

Samsung UK has apparently begun beta testing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the #GalaxyS7edge. This essentially means that the update might not be far away from hitting regular devices. Beta testing is usually done near the commercial release so as to spot and fix any bugs that are found along the way. It’s not known if the Galaxy S7 is also being tested with the update, but it’s bound to be since both devices are expected to get the update almost together.

Customers can try being part of the beta program by downloading the Galaxy Beta Program from Samsung Galaxy Apps on your devices. Samsung will pick users at random, so don’t be disheartened if you’re not chosen to be part of the beta program. It behooves Samsung to pay more attention to its existing flagships after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle last month. If you live in the UK and happen to own a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, be sure to try this out.
