Possible LG made Nexus 8 tablet spotted on Bluetooth certification site

Nexus 8We have heard about the LG made Nexus tablet on a couple of occasions with no word on the launch as of yet. This tablet has now made its way to Bluetooth SIG, hinting at an imminent release. The tablet sports a model number V510 and was first caught by Japanese site Blog of Mobile. It is being rumored that the tablet will be based off the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet, but that seems unlikely as Google already has a small sized Nexus tablet in the form of the Nexus 7. But a recent spotting on Google’s website revealed an unseen 8 inch tablet with thin bezels, similar to the G Pad 8.3, so we cannot rule out the possibility of an 8 inch Nexus tablet launching soon.

The Bluetooth certification page hardly gives away anything besides the model number of this mystery tablet, so we’re not a 100% sure yet. But since it has been certified on Bluetooth SIG, we feel an announcement is right around the corner. The certification was passed on October 24, so it has been around for quite a while now.

  1. The LG g pad is the “V500” so this is likely to either be an LTE version or slightly modified G pad 8.3 not a nexus device

  2. Unless this tablet comes in a 32 or 64 gb I won’t ever buy it . No 16gb anything for me. Don’t care about an sd card slot as I do NOT want an sd card. I want on board storage , a choice like the iPads give. Until then , It will be iPad for me at any cost. Cost is really not an issue.
