Over 750,000 people have already signed up for the OnePlus 2

OnePlus 2 Invites

The OnePlus 2 went official a couple of days ago and has been the talk of the tech industry since then. It is now being said that over 750,000 invites were demanded by the users to purchase the handset, which is quite a lot and speaks volumes about the kind of demand that is enjoyed by OnePlus and its new flagship.

The company made some crucial changes while keeping some of the core features unchanged, which has seemingly helped the company keep the faith that the fans had showed during the early (and testing) times for OnePlus.

The OnePlus 2 is packed with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a fingerprint scanner + home button, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 3/4GB of RAM, 16/64GB of storage variants, Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS and a 3,300 mAh battery.

The handset can be initially bought from the U.S., Canada, China, India and Europe. The 16GB storage and 3GB RAM model of the handset has been priced at $329 while the 64GB/4GB model will set you back by $389.

The smartphone will be officially available for purchase on the 11th of August in the aforementioned regions if you get your hands on an invite by then.
