Renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro Leaked With Quad-Cameras and No Headphone Jack

  • A new leak has revealed the OnePlus 8 Pro in the form of a render, giving us a very good idea about its design.
  • The phone has four new rear cameras while the front camera is now positioned to the top left of the screen.
  • OnePlus is expected to launch the flagship by mid-April.

The OnePlus 8 and the 8 Pro have leaked extensively over the past few months. We’re getting some more clarity on the upcoming flagship courtesy of iGeeksBlog which has come up with renders of the smartphone in a mint green type color. Further, renowned leakster, @ishanagarwal24 on Twitter has uncovered the hardware specs of the two OnePlus 8 variants expected to launch in April.

As you can see from the leaked render, the OnePlus 8 Pro doesn’t offer any radical changes besides the positioning of the selfie camera which has changed multiple times since the OnePlus 7. The company is seemingly going with a punch-hole selfie camera this time while the back has four cameras consisting of two 48MP sensors coupled with 8MP and 5MP sensors.

The leak suggests that the OnePlus 8 will pack a 6.55-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display coupled with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Adding to this will be 8GB of RAM, the octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor, and 48MP + 12MP + 2MP rear cameras. It is said that the phone will have a 4,300 mAh battery underneath and will have no IP rated water or dust resistance on board, which is quite disappointing.

The OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to pack a bigger 6.78-inch QHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 48MP + 48MP + 8MP + 5MP quad rear cameras, IP68 water/dust resistance, and a 4,510 mAh battery.

Despite some changes in hardware, both phones will support 5G by default. Given that carriers like Verizon are expected to offer OnePlus 5G phones this year, this may be the OnePlus’ biggest year yet.
