New Evidence Of A Verizon Branded Sony Xperia Z2 Appears Online

Which US based carrier is going to carry Sony’s latest flagship smartphone? A new photo leaked online shows that Verizon may be carrying the Sony Xperia Z2. This gives further strength to the rumors that started last March saying that the device will arrive in the US as a Verizon exclusive.

This isn’t the first photo of the device spotted with a Verizon logo on it. Last May a photo of the Xperia Z2 appeared at the official Sony Xperia Google+ page that clearly showed the Verizon logo on top of the device. The photo appeared only for a short while before it was removed, but not before a screen grab of it was made.

With two photos already released, one coming from an official source, it’s very likely that the Sony Xperia Z2 is headed to Verizon. This seems pretty strange as it was T-Mobile that exclusively carried the Xperia Z and the Xperia Z1. As to when this device will become available at Verizon we still don’t have that information.
