Motorola makes Moto X Pro, Moto X 2014 and the Moto G official in China

Moto X Pro

Motorola has just announced three smartphones for the Chinese market, one of them being the often rumored Moto X Pro. The device is essentially a rebranded version of the Nexus 6, sporting the same set of hardware but with some Motorola features like on the Moto X.

The Moto G and the Moto X however are both 2014 models which are long overdue in the region. Since all three devices have a very different hardware specs sheet, they won’t hurt each other’s sales. Motorola hasn’t confirmed if the Moto X Pro will be available outside China as well, but we won’t be surprised if it’s an exclusive in the region as the smartphone’s launch elsewhere could clash with the sales of the Nexus 6.

Hardware wise we’re looking at a 5.96 inch Quad HD display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back with OIS, 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 3,220 mAh battery with the Moto X Pro. One noticeable difference here is the lack of the massive Nexus logo on the back.
