LG reveals the camera specs of the LG G4 flagship

With the LG G4 confirmed to be officially breaking cover on the 28th of April, the company has been dropping hints about the camera of the handset over the past few days. The company’s most recent teaser suggested that the smartphone will feature an f/1.8 camera sensor, indicating that it will be a beast under low light conditions.

The company has now revealed everything that we needed to know about the camera of the smartphone, leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. The primary camera sensor will be an f/1.8 16-megapixel unit according to the company while the front camera will be an 8-megapixel unit, allowing for quality selfies.

This might be an area where LG could have a significant advantage over the Samsung Galaxy S6, although only time will decide if it’s actually better in real world usage. The company is tight lipped about other hardware specs of the smartphone but we expect it to be packing  5.5 inch Quad HD display, an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage variants and Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Do you think the LG flagship will live up to the hype generated by the company?
