LG confirms the April 28 launch of the G4 flagship

It was no secret that the LG G4 smartphone would be announced sometime soon. LG made it all the more obvious by scheduling an event for the 28th of April, without giving much of the details away. Today however, the manufacturer has revealed it all in its latest invitation which tells us in clear words that the G4 smartphone will be shown off during the course of the April 28 event, while also giving us a glimpse of the f/1.8 aperture camera.

The same leather background is present here from the company’s first event invite, suggesting that the handset could have a leather back cover much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. We can also see the rear action keys here, which is a trend that was sparked off with the LG G2 back in 2013 and has continued with the G3 and a myriad of other midrange offerings that followed suit.

On either sides of the camera sensor is the LED flash and the Laser Autofocus sensor, which again, is unchanged from the LG G3.

It’s good to see that the company doesn’t want to keep the name a mystery up until the event and is even giving us hints of the hardware already.

What do you expect from LG’s upcoming flagship?
