The user manual also shows off several rumored features of the LG G2. These include the volume controls and power button on the smartphone’s rear panels. LG has already confirmed the placement of these controls on the press invitation to the G2’s launch.

Furthermore, the leak shows that the smartphone will come with a removable 2,610mAh battery and a microSD card slot. Both of which are advantages for the smartphone, as they mean consumers can bring an extra battery and increase the storage space of the device. Meanwhile, what is absent from the user manual is a fingerprint reader. This feature was expected to be located on the smartphone’s rear plate.

LG G2 Specifications

The new information from the leaked LG G2 manual adds to what we already know about the upcoming flagship handset. To review, these features include a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an ultra-thin bezel and possibly the world’s thinnest 108p display. It will also boast of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU which has achieved very high scores on the AnTuTu benchmark test. A 13 MP camera, potentially with optical image stabilization, may be onboard, as well.

Earlier, LG also announced that it will be selling QuickWindow cases for the G2. Such cases will allow consumers to view some content like the time, date, and messages through a small window that is cut through the case. A video showcasing the QuickWindow cases is now available on YouTube.

LG will take the wraps off the G2 in New York on August 7. In the meantime, take a look at this video teasing the smartphone if you are interested in the G2.
