HTC’s One X Flagship Android Phone To Hit O2 And Virgin Mobile Australia Next Month

When HTC announced their new One series of flagship Android phones they also announced all of the carriers that would be receiving a version of the One series phones. In all their are three versions in a good, better, best range.

The HTC One X is the “best” out of the three. The HTC One S has very similar specs to the One X however it’s running a dual core processor vs the quad-core processor found in the international version of the One X.  The U.S. version of the One X, headed to AT&T, will have a dual core processor, putting it in the same realm as the One S.

More after the break
International carriers have begun to announce availability for the HTC One X.

In a Twitter slip, European carrier O2 announced to O2 customer Nicole Funning that they were getting the device April 5th in this tweet:  “Hi Nicole, we’re not due to get the HTC until 5th April so no decision on tariffs yet…keep an eye here:

The One X features a 4.7” screen, quad-core processor, 8mp camera on the rear, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the newest version of HTC Sense, Sense 4.0.

Virgin Mobile in Australia has said that customers should be looking for the HTC One X and updates about it in early April. That may even coincide with the talked about April 5th release on O2.

Unfortunately for U.S. customers AT&T hasn’t made a peep about the One X since their original announcement that they would be carrying it back in February.
