HTC Is Taking It To Motorola With 3G Device ICS Updates

We’re starting to see how promised device updates from Google I/O 2011 are really going to pan out. Many Motorola device owners were upset to see how lacking there list of updates was, and a lot of Motorola’s 3G lineup was completely left out, making DROID X2 and DROID 3 users really regret upgrading to 3G devices rather than hopping on the 4G LTE bandwagon.

However, HTC has just put out an updated list of devices that will be receiving ICS, and many will be happy to see 3G devices on the list. Even the Thunderbolt, the first 4G LTE phone on Verizon which has already been replaced is on this list. HTC seems to really be making a point of upgrading almost their entire 2011 lineup of Android devices to Android 4.0.
