HTC Droid Incredible 3 Surfaces? Headed To Verizon

Phonearena has discovered a new HTC phone that appears to be headed to Verizon Wireless. It appears that this could be the Droid Incredible 3.

The Android powered handset is sporting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Phonearena suggests that it’s headed to Verizon Wireless because the 4G/LTE logo that shows on boot up is the same 4G/LTE logo that Verizon uses. The 4G/LTE logo is different for AT&T and features a ring of fire around the 4G/LTE.

Phonearena updated their original piece after checking the surface information for the device and confirmed that this phone is indeed headed to Verizon.

More after the break

The phone features a 1.2ghz dual core SnapDragon processor so it’s not one of the new quad-core models.  The design on the back of the phone is reminiscent of the Droid Incredible 2 which is due for a re-up right about now.

In addition to the 1.2ghz dual core processor the DINC 3 is expected to have 1gb of RAM, an 8 mega pixel camera and a VGA front facing camera. It comes with 4G/LTE, as we stated above, and because every new smartphone for Verizon is required to support their 4G/LTE network, an announcement made at CES this year.

With Android 4.0 and Ice Cream Sandwich on board, the device will also have the latest version of Sense, which is HTC Sense 4.0.

HTC is holding a pretty big press event at MWC where we expect to see this phone alongside several others. Last year’s HTC press conference featured the HTC Flyer tablet, the HTC ChaCha, The HTC Salsa and several other Android powered devices.
