HTC Droid DNA on Verizon gets a price cut

The HTC Droid DNA can now be pouched up for a cool price tag of $49.99 on a 2 year contract. This seems to be a limited period promotion from Verizon or perhaps its own sweet way of telling us that the HTC One is going to arrive soon. The One has been rumored to launch on Verizon for quite some time now, and we might see those rumors materialize fairly soon.

The Droid DNA for $49.99 with a 2 year agreement certainly looks like a decent deal. We’re not sure how long it’s going to last as Verizon has specifically called this a ‘limited time’ offer. The smartphone boasts of a pretty heavy specs sheet and isn’t a whole lot different from what we see in the current lot of flagships, so you ought to give this a look.

The Droid DNA boasted of being one of the first 1080p smartphones in the market back in late 2012. HTC also launched an international sibling called the Butterfly and J Butterfly (Japan only) during the same time.
