Using a phone with too much brightness during the night can be disastrous for the eyes in the long run. As much as possible, you want to keep your eyes healthy by minimizing electronics usage at night, or toning down screen brightness of your mobile when you can’t resist the urge to use it. Thankfully, Samsung has considered the negative effects of too much screen brightness on their Galaxy Note10 series. One of the useful features in your Galaxy device is Night Mode. This feature allows you to dim your phone’s theme so you can avoid hurting your eyes at night. Check out this post on how to enable Night Mode and make your Galaxy Note10+ more tolerable for night usage.
Manually enable Galaxy Note10+ Night Mode
To enable Night Mode is really easy. Follow the steps below on how to turn it on by yourself.
- From the top of the screen, swipe down using two fingers to open Quick Settings panel.
- Swipe to the left.
- Then, touch the Night mode icon. The icon will glow blue when night mode is on.
To turn Night Mode off later, simply tap the same icon again.
How to automatically enable Galaxy Note10+ Night Mode (set schedule for Night Mode)
If you find Night Mode helpful, you might want to let Android enable it for you. This is very useful if you tend to forget the time and often missed the fact that it’s already deep in the night. This can also come in handy if you don’t normally keep track of time. Learn how to set a schedule for Galaxy Note10+ Night Mode below:
- Open Settings app.
- Tap Display.
- Tap Night Mode.
- Tap Turn on as scheduled.
- Use either Sunset to sunrise or Custom schedule. If you want your Note10+ to follow your time zone when using Night Mode, then Sunset to sunrise option is for you. This will turn Night Mode on automatically once your place’s sunset time is reached. You can also choose Custom schedule to set your own schedule for night mode. Touch Start time, select your desired time, and then touch Done. Next, touch End time, select a time, and then touch Done.
Keep in mind that even if you set a scheduled time for Night Mode, you can still manually turn it on whenever you want.
Congratulations! You have now set your Galaxy Note10+ Night Mode. We hope you find this short tutorial helpful.
