Galaxy Note10+ Lift To Wake: turn on screen quickly

Although pressing a button to turn your Galaxy Note10+ screen is not necessarily hard, some people may still find it unnecessary given the fact that there’s Lift to wake feature. Lift to wake ensures that your phone is ready when you pick it up, or when you take it out of your pocket. All you have to do is to look at the screen and there’s no need to press any buttons at all. Turn on Galaxy Note10+ fast with Lift To Wake feature

If you were using older Samsung Galaxy devices before, you may have heard of Direct call feature, which works similarly to Lift to wake. Well, Lift to wake is actually the replacement for Direct call so you’ll still find it helpful. Lift to wake works great with Face Recognition feature to unlock your Galaxy Note10.

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap Advanced features.
  3. Tap Motions and gestures.
  4. Move the switch for Lift to wake to the right to turn it on.

How to Lift to unlock

Once you’ve set up Lift to wake, together with Face Recognition, there’s one last thing that you must do in order to make unlocking your Galaxy Note10+ screen more efficient. Follow the steps below.

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap Biometrics and security.
  3. Tap Face recognition.
  4. Draw your pattern or enter the PIN or password to unlock Face Recognition menu.
  5. Tap Done or Next.
  6. Tap the switch to Stay on Lock screen to disable the feature. Turning this feature off keeps your phone awake and ready to unlock without asking you to swipe or touch the screen.
