Galaxy Note 5 to pack 4,100 mAh battery, 5.9 inch display and USB Type-C

Galaxy Note 5
A Concept of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5

A new report from a Chinese source is shedding light on the rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. It is said that the company will make the device slightly larger than the Galaxy Note 4, bumping the display size to 5.9 inches, making it the biggest Galaxy flagship to break cover.

The report further goes on to suggest that Samsung will not use a 4K screen as previously rumored and stick to a 2K panel instead, which seems like a wise call. The device is expected to be packing a reversible USB Type-C connector, which is something that Sony is expected to be utilizing in a future flagship.

The final rumor about the device is that it will sport a mammoth 4,100 mAh battery pack inside, ensuring that customers don’t find the device running out of juice before the end of the day. We’re guessing the company will also make some adjustments on the software side of things to provide optimum backup from the device.

Do you think these rumors will materialize? What would you like to see from the Galaxy Note 5?

  1. Went from note 2 to note 4 and you’re both right, it is hard to improve upon perfection, and it is evolutionary, and I’d do it again despite being slightly disappointed in such incremental changes.

I would like to have a MUCH LARGER SCREEN like tablet size, but oh well.

  2. Absolutely top notch piece of technology amoled QHD screen, 4100mah, samsung processor, plus stylus again blows all competitions out of the water. Can’t wait to get my samsumg galaxy note bring it on.

  3. The boys at Samsung are not known for ground breaking pioneering stuff. The Note5 will be an evolutionary upgrade of the Note4. In other words the same.
