According to new reports emerging out of Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will feature a “far better” hardware compared to the Galaxy S5 and will break cover on September 3, just days before the IFA event kicks off in Berlin.
The report also gives us some confirmation of the hardware, hinting at a 5.7 inch OLED display as well as a Snapdragon 805 chipset being used. The presence of a 2K resolution display cannot be ruled out either. Much like the Galaxy Alpha, the smartphone will reportedly have a metal chassis, although the back panel should be plastic or faux leather much like the predecessor. As previous rumors have suggested, the Galaxy Note 4 will also come with an ultraviolet sensor to measure the harmful radiation emitted by the sun.
Samsung will be looking to increase its profits after showing decreased sales this past quarter. And with Apple expected to launch a new flagship in September or October, the competition could be tougher than ever for the Korean manufacturer. It will be interesting to see if the Galaxy Note 4 will live up to the hype and deliver.
