Galaxy Note 3 to feature 5.68-inch display and 3GB of RAM

With rumours and leaks on the Galaxy Note 3 becoming a daily report, we are not surprised to see SamMobile has released a complete list of the specifications for the new device, citing a trusted insider. SamMobile has been one of the most accurate leakers on anything to do with Samsung in the past and have a reputation for finding reliable sources.

This new leak of specifications is similar to previous leaks but comes with a few changes, not least to the screen size. Recently, it was rumoured Samsung would bring three different Galaxy Note 3 sizes to the mix, but the new leak shows Samsung has settled on the 5.68-inch display size.

Inside the Galaxy Note 3 there will be a 1.8GHz octo-core Exynos 5420 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB onboard storage options, 13MP OIS camera, 3200mAh battery and it will run Android 4.3 at launch. Samsung will pack a Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 display on the Galaxy Note 3.

The battery is a little odd, we heard just today Samsung would add a 3,450mAh battery, the largest Samsung has ever added, onto the Galaxy Note 3. However, the battery was an engineering sample and may not be ready for the release at IFA in a month.

Samsung is also developing another model, likely for the US market, which will come with a different processor (Snapdragon 800), different GPU (Adreno 330) and will have LTE. The two devices are almost identical apart from the internals.

While this is the closest we have gotten to true Galaxy Note 3 specs, we will have to wait and see if any are true at IFA on September 6.
