Galaxy Note 3, new Note 10.1 and Galaxy Gear reaching U.S. in October

Galaxy Note 3

It is already well known that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will make its way to all major American carriers, with pre-orders going up today. But it is being said that the official arrival of the smartphone could not be until October, contrary to the September 25 global roll out date mentioned by Samsung. But it’s only a delay of about a week and is completely understandable. Samsung will also make the new Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch available around the same time.

The smartphone will make its way to Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and T-Mobile in the U.S. The American variant of the Galaxy Note 3 is slightly different from the global variants, as it comes with a Snapdragon 800 chip on board. Non-LTE markets will get the Exynos 5420 variant with a 4+4 CPU architecture. Apart from this, there’s hardly anything to differentiate between the two variants. It’s good to see American variants launching not too long after the global variants. Samsung has clearly learnt from the past.
