Here are the easy steps to disable Smart Alert:

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap Advanced features.
  3. Scroll up and find Smart Alert.
  4. Toggle the switch to disable Smart Alert.
  5. That’s it. You have now disabled Smart Alert.

NOTE: Dealing with Smart Alert is not the only way to extend battery life on Galaxy S7 Edge. There are other settings, features, and tricks that you can do to significantly lower the power consumption of your device everyday.
