EE Has Improved 4G Spectrum Allowance to Increase Speeds

Whilst most of the mobile networks in the UK are still lagging behind many other 4G capable networks, Everything Everywhere, or EE for short is still the first and only UK network to have 4G.

The likes of Vodafone and O2 seem to be very close to releasing a 4G network to the public, but EE have managed to double their spectrum, which will allow them to give their customers even faster speeds. This increase will allow double bandwidth for a total of 12 different cities instead of the originally planned ten.

These twelve cities are Derby and Nottingham, London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

If you’re in any of the twelve cities and are currently using the 4G EE network, expect to see a speed increase very soon as EE have made these changes today.
