Droid Bionic Users Get A Soak Test Of There Own

Motorola Mobility and their Motorola Feedback Network have been in a mad rush lately. They’ve recently had a soak test for the Droid Razr, the Motorola Photon 4G and the Motorola Atrix 4G.

Now add the Motorola Bionic to the list. If you’re a Motorola Bionic user and part of Motorola’s Feedback network than you should be getting an invite to a soak test any minute now. If you’re not familiar with a “soak test”, Motorola holds these testing periods prior to rolling out an update live.  This allows the testers to provide Motorola engineers with much needed feedback, with less update pullbacks when it goes live.

Droid Life was able to get a changelog for the update which covers these issues:

  • Remove VCast Music preload
  • Add Amazon MP3 app preload
  • Motorola Terms and Conditions screen automatically enables data collection/location details
  • Google security patch to block access to change Home panel icons
  • After factory reset, location consent screen shown on activation screen
  • Change “Terms and Condition” screen title to “Motorola Terms of Service”
