Samsung’s Gear 2 wearable was announced early last year and paired with the Samsung Galaxy S5 shortly after. However, the smartwatch didn’t see the success that Samsung had hoped for, which was partly due to its limited compatibility list and pricing. The smartwatch was endorsed as a Samsung only product, meaning that users with a non-Samsung smartphone wouldn’t be able to use it.
While the compatibility aspect of the wearable hasn’t changed (at least officially), the pricing has now seen a drop. The refurbished version of the wearable can now be bought from A4C, with a list price of $169.95. You can get an additional $50 discount when you use the promo/discount coupon CHEAP50 during checkout, so make sure you give this a closer look if you’re in the market for a wearable on the cheap.
Both the Copper/Gold and Black versions are on offer here, so there are a couple of choices at hand. The wearable supposedly lacks the original packaging and a manual, but considering that you’re getting the wearable for just under $120 (original price was $300), that can be looked over.
