Chaos Rings II Android Game Review

Square Enix has finally brought their critically acclaimed RPG game to the Android platform. Chaos Rings II puts you in the shoes of Darwin, a mercenary who is kidnapped and placed in a mansion to do battle with various enemies. Although the title says II this is in fact the third Chaos Rings game available in the Android, the first two being Chaos Rings and Chaos Rings Omega.

You can now download Chaos Rings II over at Google Play for $15.99. It’s higher than average price tag might turn off the casual gamer but for those who love playing RPG then this is a small price to pay. You will need a device running on at least Android 2.3 and a storage space of 972 MB. It is highly recommended that you download this over a Wi-Fi network so as not to incur any data charges from your carrier.

If you have played any of the Chaos Rings titles before then you will be familiar with the mechanics of this game. This game uses a turn-based system in battles and at the end of battle you get your full HP back and cancel out any ailment that you may have. You also will have random battles when in the wild.

What’s different this time around is that instead of Genes you will now have access to Sopia which are magic skills. You will also have access to Advent abilities which are basically summoning skills.

In terms of visual appeal the game is pretty much stunning. The background as you explore the world is nicely done and gorgeous. You will get to see forests, Japanese villages and cities.
