CBS All Access Down? Here are the things you should do
Being a video streaming service, the app should be constantly connected with its servers, otherwise, users won’t be able to play any of the videos in the catalog. However, there are times when issues occur and CBS All Access is one of the services that’s also bugged by some problems every now and then.
Sometimes it’s just due to a server problem, although there’s always a possibility that the issue is caused by a connection problem. So if you’re one of the users that’s bugged by this issue, here are the things you should do:
Fix #1: Make sure you have an Internet connection
Having an Internet connection is a must if you’re streaming videos and movies. However, a slow connection will also cause you some annoyance and frustrations all the same. So what you have to do first is to check the quality of your connection.
- To do so, log on to SpeedTest.net.
- Once the page loads, click Go to begin the speed test.
- When the results are shown, try to see if you’re still getting the connection speed you subscribed for.
If your connection is way lower than your plan, try rebooting your router or modem. It will usually fix connectivity problems. You may also call your Internet service provider and have the problem fixed.
Fix #2: Check the servers
The next thing you have to do if you have a stable connection and CBS All Access is still not working the way it should is to check the servers. If the servers are down, then that’s the reason why it’s not working.
- So log on to DownDetector.com.
- Search for CBS All Access and click on it.
- Now check if there’s a problem with its servers.
Server issues can often be fixed within an hour or two. So if it’s obvious that CBS All Access is having a problem with its servers, you just have to wait and you’ll be able to stream once the issue is fixed.
Fix #3: Call CBS support
If both your Internet connection and the servers are working fine and you’re still having issues streaming CBS shows, then the best place to get support from is the CBS technical support. The representative will be able to provide you with information as to why you’re having issues streaming. Just tell him/her what you’re currently experiencing, when it started and what you’ve done so far.
We hope that this post can help you one way or the other. Thanks for reading!
