#ZTE has freshly announced the latest addition to the Axon family – the Axon 7 Mini. The device is “Mini” only in name as it features a relatively large 5.2-inch display, although it’s smaller than its siblings in the lineup. The device will reach North American shelves soon, although the company hasn’t shared more details on that as of yet.
The Chinese manufacturer has mentioned that the phone will be available in Russia, Germany, Spain, Poland, Japan, Australia, India, and Saudi Arabia for about €299 ($335), which is pretty reasonable given the hardware on board. Expect the pricing to be rounded off to $300 or $350 when the phone reaches the U.S. (whenever that might be).
The Axon 7 Mini comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a 2,705 mAh battery. The handset also comes equipped with a fingerprint (or voice print) scanner, a USB Type-C port and dual-speakers.
Fancy getting one of these?
ZTE’s popular mid-ranger, the #Axon can now be bought for just $169.99 via eBay. The handset was originally priced at $200, which makes this a very attractive discount. The handset comes with a dual-camera setup on the back, which is perhaps the highlight feature here. You’re also being treated to a premium all-metal design, so the device is bang for the buck.
Internally, the Axon comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, the quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera (Duo Camera), an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery.
There’s no telling how long the device will be available, so make sure you hurry before stocks run out. It’s also possible that the handset might revert back to its original pricing soon.Interested? Make sure you hit the e

#ZTE has given some good news to customers of the #Axon7 and the #AxonPro. The company has announced that owners of the handsets will be able to unlock the bootloaders on their devices right away, as long as they send in a request form. The company mentions that it could take up to three days after that for ZTE to send you the unlocking process. It is also made apparent that the warranty (known as Passport 2.0) will be voided once you unlock the bootloader.
When the ZTE Axon 7 was originally announced, it was mentioned that the bootloader on the device will be unlockable, allowing users to flash as many ROMs on the device as they want. However, things were quite different when the device actually reached the customers’ hands as the smartphone was revealed to be packing a locked bootloader. The company’s customer service team mentioned that the bootloader would not be unlockable, basically contradicting what was said during the announcement.
But as it turns out, this was all just a misunderstanding from ZTE’s Twitter and customer support team. This was clarified by Peter Shih, who is the forum moderator at the ZTE community forum. So the good news is that if you own a ZTE Axon 7 or Axon Pro in the U.S., you will be eligible to get your bootloader unlocked, but only if you want to.

#ZTE has just introduced the #Axon7 to the American markets with a price tag of $400. The handset is an exciting prospect given the kind of hardware it packs underneath. This is no less than a flagship that you would find in the markets, so don’t disregard the device by merely looking at the price.
To give you a brief rundown, the handset comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and 3,250 mAh battery. The smartphone is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner, much like every other flagship in the market today.
The camera is OIS-equipped as well, which makes this a very attractive proposition in the market. The handset is up for pre-order right away, but will not ship until August 17. If you’re keen on getting the Gold version, you will have to wait until September 9.

#ZTE has just taken the wraps off the Nubia Z11 earlier today, sporting a powerful hardware specs sheet underneath. The handset joins the likes of the OnePlus 3 and a couple of other Chinese handsets to feature 6GB of RAM on board. We also expect Samsung to join the bandwagon soon with the Galaxy Note 7 in August.
Barring the hefty amount of RAM, the ZTE offering comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is currently considered the gold standard in the mobile industry. The handset also comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, 64/128GB of internal storage, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 3,000 mAh battery. Additional features include USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner, and Dolby Audio.
ZTE is also offering the Nubia Z11 in a 4GB RAM variant, which will be priced slightly under the top of the line 6GB variant. You will have to shell out 2499 CNY ($376) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model, while the top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will cost 3499 CNY ($526) CNY in China.

You can now purchase the #ZTE #Axon for just $169.99 from eBay. While this might seem like a budget ranged device, the Axon is actually a pretty stellar smartphone and was originally priced close to $350. But given that the demand has dipped a little bit, a price reduction was in order. That’s not to say that the handset is not good enough, though. The Axon comes with a pretty decent 5.5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC and more.
So you probably won’t find a better deal on a device like this at the moment. Other hardware features of the Axon include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel duo camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The listing mentions that this is a brand new sealed product, which is good news for prospective buyers. Hit the eBay page below for further details on the device.

The #ZTE #Spro2 Smart Projector has been available in the U.S. from various channels and it’s now available from T-Mobile as well. This Android based projector will be sold for a full retail price of $499.99. You can also get the device via the carrier’s $0 down payment plan for $20.84/month (24 months).
The Spro 2 is capable of offering a brightness of 200 lumens and up to 120-inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720. It’s running Android 4.4 KitKat, however, which is perhaps a bit of a letdown. To handle the UI side of things, the company has provided a 5-inch touchscreen display where you can install apps from the Play Store, just like you would with a regular Android device.
Since this is a projector with a powerful hardware, the slightly outdated Android version shouldn’t bother customers all that much. The Spro 2 also comes with an HDMI port on the back along with a full-sized USB port and a microSD card slot for enhanced storage options. Head over to T-Mobile’s site below to get the Spro 2.
The #ZTEAxon can now be yours for a miserly $169.99 courtesy of a deal running on eBay. The listing has been put up by fellow retailer Newegg, so you can be assured that you’re getting it from a well known source. The handset is brand new and comes with a North American warranty, which means you’re not dealing with an imported item.
Given the nature of the deal, it’s likely that the pricing might not stay up long, so make sure you proceed with haste if you’re interested in snatching up the ZTE Axon for yourself. To refresh your memory of its specs, the Axon sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel Duo Camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery.

According to a new revelation, Chinese manufacturer #ZTE is prepping the release of the #ZmaxPro soon. It is also being said that the handset will find a home on T-Mobile shelves when announced. As for the feature set of the smartphone, the Zmax Pro will supposedly feature a large 6-inch 1080p display, making it the biggest among the Zmax series.
It seems like the Zmax Pro is going to be a budget offering considering the hardware packing underneath. The handset is also said to be sporting the octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with a suitably sized battery under the hood.
There’s no word on how much the handset will cost nor is there word on when it will be made available for purchase, but a summertime release date is being mentioned at the moment. The Zmax Pro could certainly make a good addition to T-Mobile’s shelves given the right price. What do you think?

The #ZTEAxon is a popular device in the U.S. thanks to its hardware and pricing. Well, it seems like the company has already developed a successor with the ZTE Axon 2 now making its way to the Chinese certification site TENAA. This suggests that the device might be revealed in China first, which is standard practice from the manufacturers.
What’s immediately noticeable here is that ZTE has done away with the dual camera layout on the back and stuck to the conventional single camera arrangement. There’s a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera which adds to the overall feature set of the smartphone. The company has retained the front facing stereo speakers, however.
It is expected that the ZTE Axon 2 will come with a 5.5-inch 2K display, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 3,140 mAh battery. We hope to hear more about the American launch of the Axon 2 once it is officially unveiled by the manufacturer.

The handset is a pretty capable offering for under $100, especially given the hardware on board.
The Warp Elite is packing a 5.5-inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable), a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood. Turning away from #Android has been tried before. Look at #Samsung, which is trying its hand at #Tizen. However, a new report is talking about cellular carrier AT&T being interested in developing an operating system of its own, to rival Google’s Android. It is believed that software developers #Cyanogen and Chinese manufacturer #ZTE will help the carrier on this project.
Cyanogen’s anti-Android agenda isn’t exactly news to us. But it’s interesting to see that ZTE is joining the fray as well, which is known for a wide range of budget and mid-ranged Android devices that are selling through prepaid carriers in the U.S.
So should this concern anyone? Well, no. Because this won’t be an inexpensive affair and would probably take a year or two to come to fruition. Further, the fact that Android is the most versatile operating system out there (not necessarily open, though) will make things difficult for this purported AT&T OS. So why is the carrier hell bent on developing an operating system of its own? Well, our guess is that AT&T wants to have the liberty to install more bloatware apps that can be forced on users.
The report is still not confirmed, so take this particular revelation with a pinch of salt for the time being.
Do you think a move like this makes sense for AT&T? Sound off in the comments below.

The #ZTE #AxonPro smartphone is one of the best mid-range offerings available in the market. It packs a perfect blend of premium design, hardware and more importantly, pricing. The smartphone which retails for about $450 (64GB) model is now up for grabs at just $324.98, making this a hard to miss deal.
The smartphone was only recently launched in the U.S. and was also the recipient of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update not too long ago, so you’re getting an excellent product for this price. The handset is only available in the Chromium Silver color variant though (shown above), so your color choices are quite limited. Read on for a refresher on the hardware of the Axon Pro.
The handset comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (non-expandable), Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 3,000 mAh battery. The listing mentions that there are very few units left in stock, so there’s no time to waste.
The #ZTE #AxonPro smartphone is one of the most powerful handsets in its price segment. Owners of this sub-$350 flagship were treated to Android 5.1 Lollipop though, which is considered a dated version of Android, especially since #Marshmallow arrived late last year. Well, much to the joy of the customers, ZTE has now started seeding Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Axon Pro smartphone.
This comes at a time when flagships like the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 are yet to get Marshmallow in most parts of the world, so it’s quite commendable that ZTE is managing to send the update to users of its offering.
The update might be rolling out in stages, so don’t lose patience if you’re not seeing it right away. That being said, given that the Axon Pro is only available in a few regions of the world, we should see the update rollout finishing in the days to come.
Have you received the Marshmallow update on your Axon Pro? Let us know in the comments below.
