Beats Audio Coming To All HTC Sense 4.0 Devices

Sunday was one helluva day for HTC at Mobile World Congress. They announced their HTC One line of Android phones including the HTC One X headed to AT&T and the HTC One S headed to T-Mobile. HTC announced that their new flagship line of phones was headed out to 140 carriers globally, Verizon and Sprint are not among them.

If you’ve recently received a new HTC Android device, say in the past couple of months, and you’re sad that you aren’t going to be able to partake in the One series line up, this news may cheer you up.

More after the break

HTC has announced that all HTC Sense 4.0 devices are going to support Beats Audio. All three devices announced today, the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V are all going to have Sense 4.0, and by proxy Beats Audio.

Until now, HTC phones with Beats Audio were relegated to having the high performance audio only within HTC designated apps. In other words only the HTC music player could utilize the Beats Audio software. Now, with HTC Sense 4.0 they’ve changed things around a bit so you can use Beats Audio and get the full effects of it with any audio app.

For example if your music player of choice is WinAmp or PowerAmp you should be able to have the enhanced Beats Audio within those apps. HTC announced a slew of new features within Sense 4.0 including 25gb of free cloud storage for two years from DropBox.
