AT&T and Verizon Galaxy S10+ Getting Samsung’s Night Mode Feature At Long Last

As surprising as this is, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 series in the U.S. lacks a dedicated Night Mode feature in the camera. Instead, the “Bright Night” feature automatically triggers this based on a variety of factors, thus taking out control from the users’ hands. However, Samsung was quick to start sending out an update carrying the Night Mode feature to the international variants of the Galaxy S10+. While American customers have had to wait for a while, it seems like it won’t be long now with carriers like AT&T and Verizon sending out the update to their variants of the Galaxy S10+.

However, unlocked American models as well as other carrier variants are yet to get it in the region. The update changes the layout of the stock camera app by adding a dedicated “Night” section. Among other changes, this update also brings a QR scanner to the camera app, making it easier to scan codes on the go.

There’s no word on when the update will reach the Galaxy S10 and S10e, although the wait shouldn’t be too long with the larger variant already getting it. While the jury is still out on the camera performance of the Galaxy S10 lineup, it’s clear that this new update will significantly boost its credentials.

Do you own an AT&T or Verizon Galaxy S10+? Have you seen the update on your device yet? Let us know.
