Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the LG G4 temporarily halted

The #LGG4 smartphone recently started getting the #Android 6.0 update. However, it seems like the company pulled the trigger on the update prematurely and has now halted the rollout altogether.

The manufacturer has cited technical reasons for stopping the update rollout early, so we’re hoping this will be fixed soon and that the customers will be able to enjoy Android 6.0 Marshmallow as expected.

LG is yet to share details on when the update will begin rolling out again, but we suggest you don’t hold your breath. The LG G4 is one of the newest flagships to hit the market and has been the company’s best device to date. In a way, delaying the rollout is a very good move by LG considering how sending out a half baked update could create problems for the users at a later date.

For now, the update has only been halted in Poland and we don’t know if Android 6.0 is facing similar issues in other markets. So there’s no reason to panic if you happen to live outside Poland.
