The new A510 is a quad-core tablet featuring Nvidia’s Tegra 3 processor. It has a 10.1 inch display at a resolution of 1280x 800. There’s a 5 megapixel rear shooter and a 1 megapixel camera up front for video chatting.
Acer has traded in the USB 2.0 port and instead given the A510 a bigger battery which is said to run for a good 12 hours of use.

The A510 is also shipping with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. You can preorder the A510 now at just $450 in your choice of white or black. The $450 price tag is for a 32gb version. There’s no word on when it will ship but Acer isn’t known for long pre-order periods.

In the entertainment realm the Acer A510 has a microHDMI out which you can plug into an HDMI tv or projector.
