5 Best Offline Action RPG Games For Note 9 in 2023

If you’ve got some time to burn during lunch hour or are waiting around for a meeting to start, you might be wondering how you can keep yourself busy. One great way to do this it through offline action RPG games for Note 9. These are fun, story-filled games that can keep you busy for hours on end. These games can be played in spurts without you losing your progress, but with the amount of content available, you won’t have to go searching for a new game to play every few days.

So what offline action RPG game should you pick up for your Note 9? With so many available, and with a lot of garbage out there, it can be difficult to find good ones. That said, follow along below, and we’ll show you the best options out there. Here are our top picks.

The Bard’s Tale

The Bard’s Tale comes in as first up on our list, and is easily one of the best offline action RPG games on Android right now. This is a remake of the game that was available decades go, and now it’s back with fervor.

The Bard’s Tale is a ton of fun. This is an offline action RPG game at its core, so you’ll have a ton of fun exploring the massive world, completing hundreds of quests, and going through the detailed character progression. One of the best aspects of this game is the dialog and interacting with the comedic, but quirky characters. There’s a ton of fun to be had, but this game will set you back about $3; however, that’s a small price to pay for having an RPG game without any ads or required in-app purchases to progress. Now, there are in-app purchases, but they’re only there to make the game easier — they aren’t required to progress through the levels.

Doom and Destiny Advanced

Doom and Destiny Advanced is next up on our list, acting as the sequel to a previous Doom and Destiny Game. The developers say players should get about 15 hours of completely free RPG content in the game, so you should be able to easily stay busy for at least a couple of days. There are characters to create, dungeons to wade through, locations to explore, treasures to discover, and so much more.

On top of that, you’ll be able to hack through monsters and other enemies. If you want to have a little more fun, you can choose to hop online and play in co-op mode. The graphics take on a retro style, but they’re actually still really clear and detailed on the Note 9’s display.

Eternium: Mages and Minions

Eternium: Mages and Minions is another excellent offline action RPG Game for Note 9. There are a lot of excellent RPG elements to Eternium, but this game will also remind you of the retro RPGs and Diablo 2-esque games from years past. Eternium will keep you busy with plenty of content, taking you through lifelike story lines and giving you plenty of locations to explore. But, on top of that, you’ll enjoy the thrilling combat system, taking you through hack-and-slash style combat.

Exiled Kingdoms

If you’re looking for a game that is similar to Diablo 3 or Diablo 2 and its hack and slash style combat system, Exiled Kingdoms will be right up your alley. You can choose a character, and then progress through an exciting and cataclysmic storyline. Graphics are pretty good, and they actually look really crisp and clear on the Note 9’s Infinity Display. The game overall has a pretty nostalgic feel, but the hack and slash adventure is extremely fun.

Evoland might be last up on our list, but it’s one of our favorites. The goal of this game is to take the player through what adventure games used to look like to what adventure games look like in our modern world today. You start off as a 2D character in a 2D land, and as you progress through the story, different aspects of the game upgrades — for example, you might upgrade into a 3D character instead of a 2D, and then you might upgrade into an open world instead of a limited world. And eventually, you might upgrade into a combat system. It’s all very unique.

The story overall is quite short, but it’ll take you through the path of nostalgia like no other.

As you can see, there are a lot of options for offline action RPG games. Picking one all depends on what type of style you are into. Are you a big fan of hack-and-slash type games? Then we would recommend looking at Eternium or Exiled Kingdoms. Looking for more story-driven progression? Then check out Evoland and The Bard’s Tale.
