How to Import / Export contacts in your Galaxy Note8

Importing your contacts means you’re restoring them and you usually do this right after the reset to download all your contacts back to your phone and be visible through the Contacts app and other apps that may have access to them. Exporting them, however, is the opposite; you’re actually creating a file that contains all your contacts and usually it’s saved into the SD card so it will be safe during a reset. Usually, the file that will be created is a .vcf file which is also recognizable to other applications that deal with contacts…

  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the 3 dots icon > Manage contacts.
