Not sure what the best wireless earbuds are for the Google Pixel 4? We are showing you all of the best options that you can pick up for the smartphone below — let’s get started!

Apple AirPods (2019)

You cannot go wrong with Apple’s all-new AirPods. They were made for the iPhone specifically, but still work well with the Google Pixel 4 through a Bluetooth connection. And even so, the AirPods provide you with some excellent sound quality. And in this latest model, you’re getting slightly better sound quality, too.

This new model actually comes with upgraded battery life as well — there are five hours of straight listening playback in the AirPods themselves. The charging case makes them super portable, but helps them last a really long time, too. The charging case actually brings you an extra 24 hours of charging power, and can get you back up and running in just a few minutes. The case can actually get you three hours of playback time with just 15 minutes in the charger.

The wireless charging case can also be charged up via a wireless charger as well, but you can use the standard charge via Lightning cable, too.

Samsung Galaxy Buds

Samsung, of course, couldn’t let Apple eat up all of the wireless earbud market share. Enter, the Samsung Galaxy Buds. These are Samsung’s own version of the AirPods, but they are packed with some excellent sound quality in these still. Any song, movie, video, or podcast will sound so much better with a pair of Galaxy Buds in your ear.

These actually have an even slimmer design than the Apple AirPods — some would say that they’re way more comfortable as well.

The “con” here is that battery life isn’t nearly as good as the Apple AirPods. You get a total of around 13 hours of battery life — 10 less than the Apple AirPods get.

Echo Buds

Amazon has introduced their very own pair of wireless earbuds, the Echo Buds. We would say that these are around the same size as the Galaxy Buds, if not a little slimmer. Even so, they still sport premium speaker drivers that deliver crisp, dynamic audio. On top of that, it sports Bose’s Active Noise Reduction Technology to limit ambiance.

Being the “Echo Buds”, these were designed with Amazon Alexa inside. They work with the Alexa app to stream music, play Audible audiobooks, make calls, or get directions. You can’t go hands-free with other voice assistants, but it does still support access to Google Assistant from a supported device like the Google Pixel 4 — to trigger it, you will just press and hold your earbud.

Battery life is still pretty good here, with twenty hours in the charging case.

Bose SoundSport Free

The Bose SoundSport Free wireless earbuds are a hard pair to pass up. Bose has been around a really long time, and has established itself as an excellent player in the music and audio industry. These sport some really good comfort, and even bring your crisp sound quality.

These are more fitness-focused, with the SoundSport Free’s coming equipped with a built-in heart rate monitor to help measure your progress at the gym, or on a jog. Battery life is similar to the Apple AirPods, coming equipped with five hours of playback time in the headphones. On top of that, there’s a charging case that can charge the earbuds up a few additional times.

JAM Ultra

Last up on our countdown, but certainly not least, we’re looking at the JAM Ultra earbuds. A whole lot comfortable than the Apple AirPods, you’ll be able to listen to music and audio for hours at a time. In addition, they come equipped with some good sound quality, allowing you to easily listen to any genre. They have hands-free calling capabilities, too.

The earbuds themselves might only last three hours of straight music playback, but can actually provide your earbuds with up to 10 full charges, giving you a maximum of 30 to 33 hours.

Verdict

Wireless earbuds will never be able to bring you the same sound quality that wireless headphones will be able to. However, they can bring you upgraded sound quality over the stock speakers that the Pixel 4 has. On top of that, there’s plenty of added convenience here, making these extremely ideal for working out at the gym, or for going on a run or jog. Since they’re so portable, they’re great for coffee shops, too.
