5 Best MicroSD Memory Card For Pixel 4

Nowadays, plenty of services — even Google — are offering you ways to free up storage space by moving your photos and videos to the Cloud. But, if you’re not a big fan of the Cloud, there are still other options, like moving them offline, to a microSD memory card. There’s no card slot in the Pixel 4, but you can still make it happen through an adapter.

Not sure what the best microSD memory cards are for the Google Pixel 4? Follow along below, and we’ll highlight a few of our favorites below.

Samsung Pro Endurance

First up on our countdown, we’re looking at the Samsung PRO Endurance. This is one of the premier microSD memory cards that you can pick up for your Pixel 4 and its adapter. And, of course, when you’re done moving photos and videos, you can use this with other devices as well. It works extremely well, and you should never run out of storage with the 128GB available.

You will have no problem at all storing hours upon hours of 4K video. Where this really shines is in data transfer rates — read speeds at 95MB/s and write speeds at 90MB/s. Moving files around is a breeze, taking no time at all.

SanDisk Extreme PRO V30

SanDisk’s own Extreme Pro V30 memory card is another that you cannot go wrong with. SanDisk is well known for its expertise and prowess in the camera and film industry, so the PRO V30 is going to do a great job helping you film. Or, it can simply be there to simply store photos and videos. Hook this up to your Google Pixel 4’s microSD adapter, and you will get excellent performance.

And then, when you’re done transferring photos not he Pixel 4, you can take this and use it for another device, like your dedicated camera. This one has 64GB of storage space out of the gate, but you can purchase models with higher storage as well.

Samsung Evo PLUS

Samsung bills this one as a piece in their budget line, but the EVO Plus is still super impressive. You’re going to get a huge drop in write speeds, which isn’t great for filming, but read speeds still remain the same.

Samsung says that this one should still work well for any 4K needs you might have. And as far as speeds go for , you still get 100MB per second read speeds. That’s at least around what you get in many of the other Samsung cards; however, you’re looking at about just 60Mbps for write.

Samsung Evo Select

Next up, we have the Samsung EVO Select. This one, being a microSD card, is going to essentially do the same thing as the rest. A lot of its specs are similar to the PRO Endurance mentioned earlier, so you’ll have no trouble with this one. There is a whopping 128GB of storage inside, so you’ll have room for, well, anything — even 4K video! You can pack tons of content here — Samsung itself says it can fit almost 12,000 songs or 6 hours of optimized 4K footage.

Since it comes with an SD adapter in the package, you can use this card with other devices that require full SD sizes.

PNY Elite

Last up, but certainly not least, the PNY Elite is another that’s great for offloading photos and videos. It has a whole 128GB of storage, so you’ll have no issue moving around large chunks of photos at a time.

This one isn’t just good for Android smartphones and adapters, but for tablets, action cameras, drones, computers, and so much more.

Verdict

As you can see, there are a lot of great microSD memory card slots that you can use with the Google Pixel 4. Any one of these are going to get the job done, so long as you have that adapter to go with the phone. These are especially helpful if you have a Pixel 4 with not a whole lot of storage, and need to free up some room by offloading photos and videos elsewhere.

And as an added bonus — microSD cards can be used with other devices as well, not just the adapter you’re hooking up to your phone. It’s a super versatile accessory.
